What is collected and why
The enquiry form collects your name, email, organisation and message. You can also provide your preferred delivery format, session type, expected audience size and a preferred date. These details are used to answer you, discuss your event and arrange any booking. If you email directly, your email address and correspondence are also received. Please leave out personal health information about yourself or others.
Contact details and enough information about your request are needed to respond. Sending an enquiry does not add you to a marketing list.
The basis for using your information
Responding to business enquiries and protecting the website rely on legitimate interests in running a speaker service and keeping it secure. Where necessary to take steps you request before a contract or deliver a booking with you, information is used for that contract. Records may also be kept to meet legal obligations.
Who handles it
Formspree processes form submissions and emails them to hello@sabuddin.com. The email provider handles delivery and correspondence. The website runs on ChatGPT Sites with Cloudflare hosting and security services; providers may process technical details such as IP addresses, browser information and request logs to operate and protect their services.
Providers may process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Formspree describes its use of standard contractual clauses for international transfers. You can email to ask for details of the providers and safeguards relevant to your information. Information is not sold.
How long it is kept
Enquiry emails and replies are kept while needed to answer your request, arrange any booking, maintain necessary business records or resolve a query or dispute. Formspree provides up to 30 days of submission history on the current plan; that window does not automatically delete email copies.
Earlier enquiries sent through the previous website form may remain in a separate private inbox. Entries older than 90 days are removed when that inbox is accessed. You can ask about or request deletion of an enquiry at any time, subject to any lawful reason to retain it.
Analytics, cookies and links
No optional analytics or advertising tools are currently installed on this website. Hosting, security, sign-in and form providers may use essential cookies or similar safeguards. Formspree may show a hosted confirmation or anti-spam check, where its own privacy terms apply.
If you arrive through an outreach link containing campaign labels, those labels can accompany your enquiry to help identify its source. Only simple source, medium and campaign labels from the current page link are included when you submit the form. This feature uses no cookies or stored visit history and sends no separate tracking request.
LinkedIn and support organisations are ordinary links, rather than embedded tracking widgets. Their privacy notices apply when you follow them.
Your rights and complaints
You can ask for access, correction, deletion or restriction of your personal information, and a portable copy where applicable, by emailing hello@sabuddin.com. These rights depend on the circumstances.
You have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email to explain your request.
You can raise a privacy concern directly by email. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK data protection regulator.
